SUMMARY:

The Account Manager should be interested in a growth role in the insurance industry by supporting the Account Advisors, assisting with the renewal processes, open enrollment support, employee communications, claims support service, billing and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness, and client responsiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides billing support to assigned book of business

• Works with Clients on Employer initiated claims and claims appeals

• Processes COBRA elections

• Updates and maintains the Employee Benefits Center for each assigned Clients.

• Manages Evidence of Insurability process

• Manages census request, updating and summarizing demographic and enrollment information

• Assists with renewals and new business applications

• Acts as back-up overflow for Benefits Support Center

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma with 3 - 5 years successful employee benefits related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must have organizational and problem-solving skills; excellent Excel and data analysis skills, have excellent client relationship; possess strong customer service orientation skills and be results driven.

• Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability.

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
